The International Congress on Natural Products Research will be held in New York City in 2012. The meeting will include the American Society of Pharmacognosy (ASP), the Pharmacognosy Society of French Speaking Persons (AFERP), the Society for Medicinal Plant Research (GA), the Phytochemical Society of Europe (PSE), and the Italian Society of Pharmacognosy (SIF). Infinity Pharmaceuticals Advances Cyclopamine Derivative in Phase II Cancer Trials

A sulfonamide derivative of cyclopamine, IPI-926, targeting the Smoothened target in the Hedgehog pathway is entering Phase II clinical trials for myelofibrosis.
