| Job Information | Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge Louisiana invites applicants for two postdoctoral fellowships (you must be a US citizen or green card holder) on their NIH Institutional Training Grant entitled Botanical Approaches to Combat Metabolic Syndrome. Fellowships provide up to three years of funding for training in laboratory skills and coursework necessary for establishing an independent research career. We seek PhDs and MDs with strong scientific credentials in the fields of metabolic syndrome and/or botanicals research who wish to pursue a program of research and study that combines these areas. American citizens or green card holders from the basic sciences and relevant medical specialties, e.g., endocrinology, biochemistry, plant science, physiology, etc., are eligible.
