Responsibilities - • Design and execute NMR studies on a variety of compounds ranging from small molecules to biomolecules in support of client needs• Participate as a team member analyzing chemical degradation pathways and in the isolation and determination of drug substance impurity and drug product degradant structures• Interface with clients in setting research objectives and delivering progress reports• Analyze data independently or as part of a multidisciplinary research team• Prepare and communicate written technical reports• Assist in maintaining and servicing NMR instrumentation• Promote current NMR offerings and help explore new business opportunities

Qualifications - • Ph.D. degree in Organic, Medicinal or Natural Products Chemistry with proficiency utilizing NMR spectroscopy for structure elucidation and research problem solving• Experience with chromatographic separation science, biological NMR or mass spectrometry is also highly desirable• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Excellent hands-on, technical problem-solving aptitude and ability• Desire to acquire expertise with other analytical techniques• Goal-orientated team player with entrepreneurial spirit
