A postdoctoral research associate position is immediately available in the medicinal plant science lab at Morgan State University. The lab is located at the main campus in Baltimore, MD. Our work focuses on the new methods for the authentication and quality control of plant materials. Our current project involves the development of NMR and LC/MS metabolomics approaches to authenticate complex botanical materials.
We are seeking a highly motivated and outstanding scholar to join our team. The candidate will have a Ph.D. in natural products chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, or a related field. Experience in LC/MS and SFC/MS in the chemical profiling of natural products is required. Candidates with experience in the chemometric analysis of plant materials are particularly encouraged to apply. Experience in the synthesis of natural products is an add-on.
