The Sanchez Lab in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UC Santa Cruz has an opening for a postdoctoral researcher(s). UC Santa Cruz is located in the redwoods on the coast in Northern CA. We have funding on two different projects 1) single cell imaging and the development of expansion mass spectrometry in collaboration with Lydia Kisley’s lab at Case Western. 2) Women’s health applications including applications of MALDI TOF MS for protein profiling and bottom up proteomics on clinical samples. Readily available equipment includes state-of-the-art mass spectrometers (timsTOF fleX, microflex) coupled with analytical flow UPLC. In addition, our group has expertise in natural product chemistry and has access to department NMRs for structure elucidation, and a new dedicated tissue culture space. The postdoctoral salary scale ranges from $60,000-71,952 depending on level of experience. For inquiries, please contact Dr Laura Sanchez directly at firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV.
