Responsibilities - The teaching load will consist of four courses per semester, primarily in organic chemistry, but may include courses in general, inorganic, biochemistry, and analytical chemistry, depending on the needs of the department and the expertise of the candidate. The department provides support, with resources and guidance from previous instructors to facilitate a smooth transition into teaching established courses. We're looking for someone passionate about undergraduate education, with prior teaching experience, who is committed to student success. The successful candidates will use student-centered, active learning, and inquiry-based teaching practices. The position is contingent on expected available funding.
