This is an opening for a Post-Doctoral Fellow position in the Cech lab (https://chem.uncg.edu/cech/). Candidate must have the expertise and interest in developing and applying novel methodologies at the interface of mass spectrometry and natural products research. Experience with mass spectrometry metabolomics experimental design and data analysis and/or expertise in the isolation and de-novo structure elucidation of natural products are desirable characteristics. A willingness and ability to contribute to a team-oriented research environment, participate in student training, and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, are essential. Competitive candidates will have a record of research publications as first author in peer reviewed journals.
