The National Cancer Institute (NCI), Center for Cancer Research (CCR), Molecular Targets Program is seeking an outstanding tenure-track scientist to establish an independent research group focused on cell-based screening approaches to identify novel bioprobes and potential therapeutic agents against cancer. Ideally, the candidate will bring expertise in imaging modalities and experience in mechanism-of-action studies on active compounds identified in high throughput screens. Taking advantage of the stable resources provided by the NCI Intramural Research Program, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead an impactful research program, as part of the Molecular Targets Program (MTP). The MTP is an interdisciplinary program which exploits recent cancer-biology discoveries made in the Center for Cancer Research to develop bioassays and undertake screens of both pure compounds and natural products.
